| Description: | Work closely with committees and staff in charge of media relations, website management, promotions and other media and marketing efforts. The dates listed are approximate and we are willing to work with your school schedules. After the application process is completed the Host Committee will work with the selected applicants to determine an exact schedule. |
| Duties: | Provide general project support to the President and CEO, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, and the Communications Director. Projects will include but are not limited to: media relations, on-site media operation, website maintenance and updates, public information and messaging, speaker’s bureau, advertising, partner hospitality and fulfillment, corporate fundraising, promotions, service partnerships, and brand management and enforcement. |
| Qualifications: | The 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee is seeking hardworking and dedicated individuals that are recent graduates or currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs. Candidates with majors in, or working knowledge of the following will be considered more strongly but if you believe you are up to the task please continue with the application process. Useful Majors/Knowledge: Sports Management, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Communications, Events Management, Media Relations, Finance, Community Relations, Volunteer Coordination, Hospitality Services, Website Management, Environmental Science, Youth Program Coordination and Management. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus. Communication skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines is important. |
