Description:
  1. Manage and coordinate all local hospitality venues under contract (approx 100) for NFL sanctioned and non-sanctioned events and activities conducted during the 14-day Super Bowl period.
  2. Provide support for Super Bowl Village and Super Bowl Saturday Night Operations.
  3. Provide support for all NFL sanctioned events
  4. Job Duration: March, 2011 - February, 2012
Duties:
  1. Work cooperatively with Host Committee Volunteer Leadership on specifically assigned committees through administrative support, facilitation of meetings, budget management, timeline management and integration of similar planning areas across all other committees.
  2. Manage interns towards meeting specific timelines, deadlines, and goals while maintaining positive relationships with interns.
Qualifications:
Experience in the following areas:
  1. Volunteer management: demonstrated experience in training and directing volunteer groups to meet specific goals while maintaining positive volunteer relationships.
  2. Committee or volunteer group management: demonstrated success in directing and facilitating a committee or group process to meet specific goals.
  3. Financial management: experience in developing realistic and supportable projections and successfully working with a defined budget.
  4. Project management: demonstrated ability in successfully meeting project timelines and deadlines while managing multiple and simultaneous projects.
  5. Bachelors Degree with minimum 2 years professional experience in related field.

  1. Previous event volunteer experience.

  13. High competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (staffing plan allows very limited administrative support available to assist in workload).
  14. Scheduling and Microsoft Outlook meeting planning.
