The State of Indiana and the City of Indianapolis are proud to be the host of this spectacular event which will be held for the first time on Hoosier soil. It is a testament to the talent of our residents that the NFL Owners chose Indianapolis as the site of their most prestigious game of any year.

Staff Positions

Successful applicants for any of these staff positions will come to us with previous volunteer and special events experience. Our staff members will be working with Host Committee Volunteer Leadership, community leaders, volunteers, NFL representatives, and other stakeholders. Project management, consensus building, problem solving, written and verbal communication, and a strong customer service focus are skills that are required. Staff members must be able to switch priorities on a moment’s notice and, while you will see job descriptions on this web site, additional responsibilities may be added as our plans unfold.

We also have a strong commitment to reflect the diverse nature of our community in both our paid and volunteer staff positions and our goal is to include a broad range of community representation. Our paid staff positions vary in both their duration (from 12 to 30 months) and start dates (late 2009 through March of 2011).  Intern Positions

The 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee is committed to providing an Internship Program that offers undergraduate and graduate students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of sports. This program enables students to work on specific projects under the direction of Committee Chairs and Staff Management, and is tailored to provide the maximum educational benefit to each participant.

A variety of internships will be offered by the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee. We are looking for energetic interns who can work flexible schedules and enjoy a fasted paced sports environment. We are willing to work with any level of college students and recent graduates.

Our internship opportunities will be available beginning in December of 2009 through February of 2012. All internships will be unpaid but we will provide parking. Internship applications will only be accepted online. Assignments may extend over two internship periods in certain circumstances.
